CMF Students Leicester is a student-led fellowship which aims to connect you with other healthcare students to live and speak for Jesus Christ. We run and organise this group and are a point of contact for any questions.
Medical Student.
Being in CMF reminds me that my motivation for my studies is a love for God and for others. I have found CMF is a really supportive environment where people have encouraged me in my faith and I know that I have a wonderful network of people I could turn to if I was facing issues of burnout or any ethical dilemma.
I would encourage anyone to join CMF for the lovely community and for the practical help in integrating faith and healthcare.
Medical student.
I love the wonderful opportunity it is to serve and connect Christian healthcare students together. What I like most about CMF, is the plethora of experiences, wisdom, opportunity it holds as it is a community full of people from different backgrounds, ages and specialities.
MSLs are local doctors who can help and support the running of CMF Students Leicester. They are also a great source of encouragement and advice when you need it.
GP
I'm Lorna and am the student link for Leicester. CMF helped me so much through medical school, thinking through the big issues and having support and encouragement from those just that bit further along. Joining CMF is joining a supportive family, to have fun, discuss the difficult stuff and be encouraged, prayed for and supported through the ups and downs of training and working in healthcare.
Junior Doctor
Hi! I’m Natalia and I also help with the CMF students’ group in Leicester. I first got involved in CMF in clinical years of med school as I wanted to learn more about how my faith can influence my practice as a doctor. It gave me an amazing opportunity to think through some big questions, make friends with people who were at a similar stage of training but also be encouraged by the wisdom of older Christian healthcare workers in the area.
